King County voters approved the first parks levy in 2003. They renewed it in 2007 and again 2013. In its most recent report, the existing Parks Levy Oversight Board determined that King County Parks consistently meets or exceeds its levy commitments

The levy would cost $16.82 cents per $1,000 of assessed property value, which would cost the owner of a home valued at $500,000 about $7 per month, which is about $2 more than they currently pay.
