Rock Creek Select is excited to anounce the hiring of Scott Fairbanks to lead the 18U Premier club next season. Scott has great experience in the both the college and professional game and will bring that wealth of knowledge to RC.

Scott pitched for two seasons at Bellevue college and then NAIA powerhouse Lewis and Clark State college. While at Lewis and Clark State, Scott was the closer for their 2003 National Championship team. Scott was then drafted as a pitcher by the Oakland A's in the 33rd round in the 2004 draft and pitched professionally for 2 seasons with the A's. Once his playing days were over Scott began coaching at Bellevue College with his former coach Mark Yoshino. While at Bellevue, Scott won two NWAAC titles in '07 and '09. Scott was the pitching coach for Taylor baseball from '09-'11 helping numerous players go on to play college and professional baseball. During this time Scott also helped start the Seattle Premier League and won the league title the first two seasons of its existence.

Scott also began scouting in 2012 and was named Northern California regional scout for the Chicago Cubs from '12-'15.

Scott has spent the last few years raising his daughter Dottie and son Trey with his wife Jodi and is looking forward to getting back into the game he loves. Scott brings a ton of passion towards playing the game hard and has always gotten the most out of his players. Scott is looking forward to continuing to grow this outstanding 18U program!
