The RC 10U team started the GSL April Bash with an 8-8 tie game against the Northwest Reign Silver.  RC outhit the Reign 9-7 on the game led by Nolan Fahey who collected 2 hits.  In the second seeding game on Saturday, Dylan Clementz, Christopher Moore and Jake French combined to 2-hit the Stods Warriors in a 5-4 victory.

The Semi-Final game on Sunday against the Stods Warriors, was a pitchers duel in which each team was only able to collect 2-hits.  Dylan Clementz led the way on the mound for RC by throwing 5 very efficient innings, without giving up a hit while striking out seven and only walking one batter.  The RC 10U's were led on offense by Anthony Wagner who collected an RBI single in the third to give Rock Creek the lead.  This win advanced the RC 10U's to the championship game against the Cascade Crush.

Once again, the championship game was a pitchers duel that featured fantastic defense between the two teams. Rock Creek was paced on the mount by Christopher Moore who lasted 5 innings, while giving up two runs while striking out six and walking only one batter.  Rock Creek was able to out-hit the Crush, led by Christopher Moore and Anthony Wagner, who both collected 2-hits, but it was not enough as the Crush walked off on RC with a run in the bottom of the 6th on a bang-bang play at the plate that was just not in time.  Though not able to pull out the victory, it was a great game and tournament for the Rock Creek 10U team.

Unfortunately, the Bears fought back as time was running out in the 5th inning to tie the score at 7. The win and tie on Saturday was good enough to earn Rock Creek the #3 seed heading into Championship Sunday.
